ifilm English TV to air new movie ‘The Lost Strait’

ifilm’s new movie ‘The Lost Strait’ has been scheduled to be aired on Saturday night.

The movie, directed by Bahram Tavakkoli and produced by Saeed Malekan, won Best Film Crystal Simorgh and Crystal Simorgh for Best Director at the 36th Fajr Film Festival.

‘The Lost Strait’ also led winners at the National Will Manifestation strand, which was held in Arvand Free Trade Zone (AFZ) located in the southwestern corner of Iran.

It depicts the story of one of the most critical days of the Iraq-Iran war, when a group of brave Iranian soldiers defended the Abu Ghraib Strait against the Iraqi invaders.

Javad Ezzati, Amir Jadidi, Mehdi Pakdel, Ali Soleimani, Mehdi Qorbani, Qorban Najafi, and Hamid-Reza Azarang are among the cast members.

The epic film succeeded to gain good takings at the domestic box office at the time of public screening.

‘The Lost Strait’, made in 2017, is scheduled to go on air at 22:00 GMT.

ifilm English will also repeat the movie the next day at 04:00, 10:00 and 16:00 (all GMT times).
